May 14, 2019

Nyssa has a double, Tegan dances the Charleston, the Doctor gets lost and Adric is a bottomless pit. We've watched so you don't have to. Not the best Doctor Who ever, but as British country house murder mysteries go, it's not too bad.

Apr 11, 2019

Iconic Doctor and companion meet an iconic monster and defeat them using  . . . gold?!? Also, Harry Sullivan is an imbecile. We discuss what is wrong and what is right about this story.

Mar 11, 2019

Consider this a "We Watched So You Don't Have To" moment in reconstruction history and wait for the animation coming out at the end of the year. . Also, forgive OldWho's edits -- he's got a learning curve as he takes over editing from NuWho for a while.

Jan 29, 2019

We've arrived at the first major hurdle to watching Old Who -- missing episodes, of which Marco Polo is the first, with zero footage remaining. So how did we "watch?" Audio (lifted by passionate fans and gifted back to BBC), narration (by one of the surviving cast members, William Russell), telesnaps (we explain) and the Target novelization. None of which make us miss it any less. [Tech note: We record over Skype and this week's feed was not ideal. Couldn't be fixed, so we apologize and promise to do what we can to prevent it in the future.]

Jan 14, 2019

Starting the New Year off with a bang, facing off against an old enemy. So we have some questions, and comments and then talk of our plans for the whole blasted year that we have to wait for another NuWho.

Dec 29, 2018

Series 11 wraps with a NuWho style Historical, an uneven Scandinavian avant garde film and a finale with a "minor bad." We review the season and look forward to the next.

Nov 30, 2018

Wherein we review 3 of the 13th Doctor stories, "The Tsuranga Conundrum," "Demons of the Punjab," and "Kerblam!" AKA as "Base Under Siege," "Aliens in an Historical Setting," and "80s Extravaganza."

The Doctor and Team TARDIS fight corporate greed and masses of overgrown creepy spiders in Sheffield. Yaz deals with family drama. And the Twitterverse can still find things to complain about.

Oct 28, 2018

In this episode we see a true historical handled in a unique way. And an important American story handled with care by a British creative team. We continue to be blown away by the visual beauty and storytelling genius that comes across the airwaves each week.

Oct 19, 2018

Oct 4, 2018

Sep 18, 2018

This is the 2 parter with Rose and the Doctor teaming up with  "Harriet Jones, MP, Flydale North" to fight off an alien invasion, while Mickey and Jackie do battle back at the Powell Estates. Pigs in space suits, zippers in foreheads and pickle juice explosions -- it's Doctor Who at its best.

Sep 7, 2018
